So, right up until the moment I went to draw this page, I had every intention of showing what happened to her hand rather than just having Chaerius tell you. But then I realized that if I was depicting her at a hospital, then even if they couldn't do much to help the hand, they'd likely at least bandage it to keep it stabilized while they took care of everything else. So her hand is blackened and frozen in the pose it's currently in - she can't move it. That's why the bandages are so bulky, because they had to bandage around whatever pose her fingers are in.
…well…that was the idea anyway…
