As Lena ran for all she was worth toward school, she mentally yelled at herself. How could she have been so stupid?
"Huff… Huff… I can't be lieve I overslept! That's never happened before!" She said aloud, seeing as how there was no one around. Suddenly, it struck her like a brick.
"Wait a minute…" She said, stopping abruptly. "Yesterday was Friday. What am I doing?"
An image of the young man named Noss flashed in her mind, stupid smile on his face and waving to her.
Suddenly, she felt angry. "That guy…" She hissed, then spun on her heel to run back home.
"If that guy's robbing my house, there's going to be Hell to pay!"
