Comic book geekery oh no

Yes, I'm a DC man, no I have nothing against Marvel, but there were more DC Saturday morning cartoons on in my childhood than Marvel ones.

Who else remembers "Comic Book" on Channel 4, early mornings in about 1989, 1990? From 6 am till eight or seven thirty or something? Old bits of the Superman/Aquaman Hour of Adventure, only without Superman? Two Aquaman cartoons with either the Atom, Hawkman or the Justice League of America in the middle! Oh, and the Flash sometimes too. Flash rules. Wally West is my man. And after that you might get a Fantastic Four cartoon from the sixties, or the Mighty Thor, but it was always DC that dominated. And intersperesed with all these would usually be any old random Canadian or European cartoon Channel Four could find. All with no continuity (fortunately - I was still terrified of the Channel 4 music shut up it was loud and frightening and I was six) and few adverts. Good times.
