'No way in Hell'? come man, that's cheesy and lame. well i never said that it was supposed to be a dramatic action film with witty banter, did i? i admit, sometimes i love the cheesy lines, especially when said from the Punisher, he may be the king of cheese.
now begins a strange shift in F.U.I., something exciting! i never wanted my comic bound by a genre so simple as 'humor'. there are times i just not feeling very funny and certainly don't feel it's appropriate. i like to think that F.U.I. is somewhat like the TV show 'Scrubs'. no, not the doctor part, the tone. it isn't always a comedy (though the majority of the time it is) at times it is quite sad or bittersweet. there are times when i don't want to write a joke, when i want to say something else. i would love to get into a rant about metaphyics and all sorts of humbug but i don't think this is the place. i avoid metaphyics because i like to think that my comics can appeal to a wide audience, and to be shut myself off to being an intellectual, existential expose seems foolish.
there is a time and place for that sort of thing and people don't always want to hear that, but somethings that is what i want to say.
