as some have noted, this story arc is very much a parody of the Dante's Divine Comedy, specefically the Inferno. some parts I have altered and left out but I have kept pretty true. when I came to the suicides I really couldn't make a joke. I didn't think it was tasteful to make light of something like that.
someone might debate that, 'well its okay to make fun of murderers and corporations?' and to me, yeah. the line was suicides. I don't think it's funny to joke about them but I also didn't want to lecture people about it. this is a public service announcment though I think Dariel very much is speaking what I feel here.
not often am I Dariel, but we do share qualities and on occasion he speaks exactly how I feel. this is just one of those times.
