Alice knew it was a bad idea from the start. She should have never given a damn or taken pity on this fragile slip of a girl but she had, and look where it had landed her.
"I can't heal her the way she is asking." She thought, what else could she say to convince him!? "But I can do anything else…"
"Fix her how she needs." He replied, then man who claimed himself as 'Satan'. "Or watch her join me, and my ranks."
Alice wanted to say she could, but she could not. She couldn't lie…
She watched Satan drag her best friend away, leaving a huge, burning hole in the middle of the room, while she stood there, amazed at what she had just seen.
"I promised I'd rescue you even if it meant fighting through living hell…" 
She smiled softly.
"I meant it literally."
