Well, this A-kon wasn't quite as fun as I'm used to, but a lot of it was my fault. Between losing (and thus cancelling) my debit card and gauging my toe on an escalator, I didn't quite have as much fun as I thought. Still, I walked away with a huge pile of free stuff, like a whole box of Narutard cards and a brand-new set of dice in a fancy dice-bag.

I got to try out 4.0. It wasn't so bad, but it played too much like an MMO mixed with World of Darkness for my taste. I dunno how comfortably I'll make the switch…

Anyway, I got to meet some of my favorite webcomic artists, and Ben Dunn actually remembered me, which I hope is a good sign. I also grabbed a bunch of tips for submitting a portfolio to a comics company. One tip: Follow the submissions guidelines to the letter.
