Mahou-Shojou development: Cute companion creature

Well, I didn't really get any help with this, and this might not be the final design, but here's the first draft of the Companion Creature that's practically required in any Mahou-Shojo series.

I'm straying from the animal route on this one, which I'm not terribly hot on, but this is what I can do on my own.

She's roughly eight-inches tall and protects herself by bonding to a human being (Transforming them into a Magical Girl, etc…)
