So, the guys over at Drowtales.com (Warning, extremely not for children!) have a Manga contest around the summer each year and I have decided to draw up an idea I've had for a while. The guy depicted here who looks like Ben's long-lost relative is the guy from the fantasy story I mentioned earlier.

On this page, he's complaining to himself about the fact that "The only side of the castle without guards is the side over a pit of boiling lava" (With a birds-eye view for demonstration, of course)

Now, I did a fancomic for Drowtales LOOOONG before starting this webcomic, so this guy's been tied into the Drowtales universe already (The comic, even as horrendously bad as it looks, was featured on the front-page for a week) The inspiration was a moment in chapter 2 where Ariel, the main character, stops herself from falling with her wind magic when a rock hits her "hovercraft" and causes her to continue falling. I basically "explained" where the rock came from.

Oh well, happy new-years-eve!
