Interlude 2: Melandra Jones

Melandra is, to me, the soul of the Found Art story. The funny thing is that she is composed of a bunch of 3D assets that basically everybody gets. The basic figure is Aiko, wearing the Mech Girl uniform with Mitsu hair; all of this stuff is free from DAZ3D.com. Her skin is from a free texture package called Taylor I found on ShareCG.com (http://www.sharecg.com/v/35650/Poser/Taylor-for-A3), though I did my own morph. I was so new to 3D that I didn't realize that pretty much the first character every newbie creates is something like this. Now, I'm stuck with her, though (Dyald, by the way, has created a lot of great free stuff, including the uniforms worn by the officers you'll see a lot of in the next issue).

Personality wise, Melandra is inspired by all of my favorite ner-do-well space captains, especially Malcolm Reynolds (the Mal/Mel thing is no coincidence) and Han Solo.
