Interlude 3: H Dunk

Dunk was created with the free character ApolloMaximus by Anton Kisiel (http://www.antonkisieldesigns.com/%7Eakfiles/htmlpages/ApolloMaximusFree3dhumanfigure.htm). I think it's really cool of them to give away such a useful figure. I was randomly tweaking dials until I came to this over-the-top muscle-man character. Decided he would be a fun counterpoint to the diminutive Melandra. Kind of a Jayne to Mel's Mal or a Chewie to Han sidekick. Not to bright, but tough and loyal.

He has a bit of a backstory too, which I haven't had any space to put into the story yet. That's the thing about trying to fit a coherent action-oriented story into a 15-page a month format. It's almost like writing a half-hour TV-show. You're always cutting it down to the bare bones of a story to keep it moving. Anyway, we know that Dunk used to be in some kind of special ops unit, but he's not anymore. What happened? Tune in next time!
