Issue 11: Desperate Measures

On the cover: every once in a while, I feel like I get a good picture going—some nice poses, some good expressions. Then, I realize that, because of the number of panels I have to fit on the page, this picture is going to be so small that no one is going to actually be able to see all of the detail work. This cover is one of those kinds of picture… originally from issue 9 or 10. Now, nice and big for the cover of issue 11.

Good news: with this issue, the page count of Found Art now exceeds that of my previous comic experiment from several years ago, Jhulene the Paladin. This is a very densely written issue, with approximately 100 panels over the course of 15 pages. A lot of action. Issue 11 marks the one year anniversary of the web comic (I skipped one month in there).

Then the bad news: this is the last issue I'll be publishing from the United States before returning to Africa. While I have every intention of continuing to write the story, I will have irregular access to high speed Internet for at least the next three months, if not longer. This may mean that my regular updates will become… well, at least less regular.

I hope you'll all still check back from time to time. There is still a lot of adventure still to be had out there in the stars.
