Found Art

I have long vowed I would never use filler pages. And yet here I am. I hope you can forgive me. I have a perfectly logical explanation. Well. I have two explanations, but they're both true:
1. I have drawn about 20 pages of the next 15 page chapter of Found Art, but they're all in random order and don't make sense without the transitions and other pages I still haven't written. Like, seven of the pages feature a character to whom I have yet to write the introduction. That's the problem with the story's increasing complexity. I could just put up what I have, but the next chapter is shaping up to be really, really good. And I don't want to put up something subpar just to be done with it.
2. My 6+ year old laptop is dying. When I do any kind of processor intensive work (which includes any kind of 3D modelling or image processing), it makes a sound like an electric razor shaving a particularly rough tree. I am hoping to be able to buy a new computer when I go to the USA in September (they're just too expensive here in Botswana), but until then, I can only do the most limited of art projects. And, given how crazy complex the next chapter is turning out to be, well, there's just no point right now.
This is an image I did around about Chapter 14 or 15. Found Art as a comic was evolving from something I had thrown together with whatever free tools I could find lying around, to something I wanted to do well. I invested in a few new assets and was upgrading my characters from Generation 3 to Generation 4 models. At this point, Mel had never appeared in anything besides her flight suit. I thought it would be fun to give her a slightly more "girly" look using the Gen4 3D architecture (also, there was some talk on the forums that you could get more readers if you posted sexy girl images… kind of a moot point now that the visitor counters aren't working). Was also experimenting with different lighting effects and with the postwork style which has since become standard operating procedure.
