Little Details, part 3

In my early days creating Found Art, I had no idea what I was doing in terms of character creation. I even used some generic "un-morphed" characters (Melandra, for example, is basically a "realistic" Aiko3). I have a little bit of guilt about that in retrospect. I consider it laziness to use generic characters when I see it in other 3D comic creators. But back then I didn't know what I was doing.
Now, when I'm feeling creatively directionless, I may sit in my comfy couch watching TV with my wife and creating new characters for fun. So, while I started with no characters and no idea how to create a character, I now have dozens of cool characters I will probably never use. Every once in a while, I have a scene where I need to throw up a background character who has never been seen before and will never be seen again, I open something form my "Random Cool Characters" folder. These guys, representing the responses of the various groups receiving gifts from the last emperor of Solaria, all came from the cool characters folder. This is the moment where they all know, on some level, that the empire is about to fall apart. And what do they get for it? Some magical stones. I figured there would be mixed and conflicting emotions from those receiving these gifts and tried to put those emotions on the faces of the recipients. I think I pulled it off. But once the picturees were reduced to fit on the page, a lot of the detail was lost.
But, anyway, I'm done rehashing old details. My computer is still giving me trouble, so it's hard to do new comic pages. But I have a few things I want to share over the next few weeks.
