Chapter One, Page Twenty
StSean onAll the pages thus far have been prologue. The action -and the drama (however Colleen might hope otherwise)- pick up from here. I often say that I hate exposition because it’s often handled in a clunky and “I’m telling you something!” manner. Not that I’m exempting myself. I’m not. Exposition is best when it’s unseen, invisible to the untrained eye, like physical descriptions of characters in prose. If “Let’s me tell you about myself. I just turned 19 and have wavy blonde hair.” sounds like your speed of exposition, kill yourself. Or stop reading Nifty.
The complete trade paperback of "Family Reunion" is available at IndyPlanet for those of you who cannot wait to see how it ends. The beginning of the second arc (issues 4 through 8) - "Here, There and Nowhere" - can also be found there for purchase.
