Chapter 3.1.73 Thank you bonus-update-type-thing

I told you all your loyalty would not go unrewarded! All though this is the best I can do right now, I promise and do something a little more special, you guys deserve it! =3 So, yeah, a whole day early, here's page 1 of chapter 3! And yes, I will update tomorrow as usual, only the page 2 will go up instead (duh! lol XD). Oddly enough, I actually kinda liked how this one turned out XD I had a lot of fun doing it, I hope it showed! Anywho, those who may not know, yesterday I uploaded the title page, on Tuesday I (finally) updated DTF6, and as you're reading this, the "cover for nVd's second season has been posted as well! Be on the look out for page 2 right here tomorrow, and on Monday, not only will page 3 go up, but *officially* it's also the page that makes this here webcomic 75 pages old now! Time flies XD

Just checked up on some of your stuff, it's great!; Freakeh: Lol, I saw that umbrella in a magazine and thought it'd be perfect XD Lol, about the contradictory messages in the title pages, it's my homage to mangas, that have title pages with artwork that has absolutely nothing to do with the actual story (which also explains why I do the title pages in black and white instead of color as well) XD As you can see, Jane is very attached to that necklace. In fact, it's the one true "material" thing she values as her greatest treasure. There is a story behind it, but you have to wait a bit for it. Just notice, that for the rare exception in "promo art" (such as the main image right here), she never wears it in front of Fred. And whenever she's holding the necklace in her hands (like in the first and fifth webisode, and in the preview of page 4), she always has a melancholic look, and her thoughts seem to drift away…. The rain drops where actually included as a "picture tube" in one of the softwares I use for coloring/effects (Paintshop Pro 4). It's allready rendered, and you can put as many and varied shapes as you want, it's kinda cool for experimenting like this (actually, those dots in the bg also are from the picture tube, in color, they are "retro colored spots" XD); Ilikedirt: Thx for the 5!
