Anyone else remember that fiasco known as "The Clone Saga" from Spider-Man? Ah, yes, it was to Spidey like "The Cable Guy" was to Jim Carrey XD No, I do not take myself (or my creations) THAT seriously =P I'm well aware of the Spidey comparisons, so I thought this would be fun XD Ironically enough, I've never been a big fan of the Spidey books (I do, however, love the movies), that everybody has guessed wrong when they think Spidey was THE main influence for this title (very good guess, though!). Actually, design wise, I took inspiration from the manga Appleseed (with a touch of Deathstroke the Terminator, of course), and personality-wise, he takes a lot more from The Ray than anyone else. So, if ever somebody tells you that Warlord is a Spidey knock-off, glare into their face like Funnybone does when somebody calls him something other than a harlequin, and tell them "nuh-uh! Warlord is a The Ray knock-off!" XD
