Heeeey, remember him? It's that homicide detective that appeared in chapter 3 HERE in chapter 4 HERE in chapter 8 HERE and the last time we saw him was at Cheryl's funeral in chapter 11 HERE!

It's obvious he knows Cheryl (and appaently Jane, too and Fred, too), but from where? They don't seem to know him at all. And what exactly happened in those 6 months that went by between chapter 11 and chapter 12? Most of these questions (and also a brawl!) in chapter 17! =3 I feel that visually, chapter 16 has been the best chapter yet in Warlord. Hopefully 17 will be way better =)

Also, that space between Fred and Jane in the first panel, is almost where they find each other right now, with just so many people and situations they really haven't been able to be close at all. So that panel in a way is simbolic. Has that ever happen to any of you? You have the need or whatever to talk with somebody, and that person with you, but people or ninjas or sudden situations just keep getting in your way? =(
