Sorry for another super late update, but things have been a bit frenetic. As most of you may know by now, little over two weeks ago Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico.
Most of my family and friends still live there. It was an intense few days after it hit because practically 90% of people had no phone coverage, and 100% of the island lost electricity.
I hadn't been able to talk with my mom since Hurricane Irma like three weeks ago, because electricity on most of the island was still out after Irma hit.
A week after Maria hit, an aunt called my sister in Florida, and my sister called me to tell me my mom is fine. She lost the house. My friends of mine either lost their house or lost everything because of the floods.
It's surreal, just in August I was at my old home, for my mother's birthday. Now it's not there anymore. I still haven't been able to talk with her directly.
So,, my mind had been all over the place so I pretty much buried myself in school and work, especially since, well, this comic is based in Puerto Rico, it almost felt like I'd be disrespectful uploading the story after all that happened.
I think some time has passed to kind of come to terms with the reality of it all, and here we are.
This is not a traditional update day but I felt I owed it to you to upload today to explain and also to speed up the updating a bit. Some time later tomorrow the next page goes up. I also deleted the fillers if you want to get up to speed.
I'll try my best to catch up with all of you, as always, thank you all so much for reading and understanding.
