And here's the final page of the short. This has been the big player that has influenced a lot of the bad things happening in this series. His name is Sael (Deathmate). He has been hunting Fred down for a long time now, and was responsible for the assault in Fred's school twice now (chapters 6-7, sending Demon Babe and Electron, and most recently in chapters 20-22, causing a riot during a student protest thanks to Massacre, Terminal, and Winged Demon).
And, of course, when he sent Akuma in chapter 11.
Now that Demon Babe and Electro were able to free Themskya in chapters 24 and 25, Deathmate is almost at full force, while Exorcist is not 100% and Jon seems to be out of action, things are not looking good for Fred's team.
The only "bright side" is that Akuma left the group, and that hurts Deathmate's group.
A lot of secrets will be revealed, and a lot of questions answered by the end of this arc, so I'm REALLY looking forward to continue sharing this ride with you all! Thank you for reading, old or new readers, and I hope you look forward to the beginning of chapter 26 tomorrow!
