Yahhh! I'm up to a cover and 10 pages!
Dante and Ruun officially meet. After I mapped out the script and layout of this page, I realized the pacing was a bit off. Dante should have shaken hands or something to introduce himself. Oh well, something for next time.
It's fun to learn the pitfalls of detail and continuity. It's one thing in my script to write, "Dante has bandages all over his front" but it's a pain to keep track of them.
I don't think the room works well in the first panel but I like Dante's face. I really like Dante in the second panel, it turned out well. I love how the tall panel turned out. Hope you like the body paints. Everybody's got them, and today you see Dante's. It took some tweaking, but I think I got Ruun to look appreciative without leering. Those stupid Church crosses kept me from making him blush. I'll be glad when he stops wearing them. Yeah, Ruun probably snuck a peek when cleaning wounds but he was busy.
Overall, I like how this page turned out.

Update Oct 2009
After finishing Chapter 1, I went through and updated this page to have shadows and greyscale. I removed much of the color.
