Fresh Mystery Bread Cover

After many years of just having Mystery Bread and Bagel Boy only making cameo appearances at the Drunk Duck Awards, I’ve decided to make a valiant attempt at rebooting the comic. Or maybe this is a sequel? This comic takes place about 10 years after the original comic (because that’s how long it has been.) I figured this would be the best way to keep the comic from being too stale and give some wiggle room for the characters to not be the exact same as they used to be. I won’t be creating this one with Ochitsukani like the last one. However, I did ask her a couple of years ago if she didn’t mind if I rebooted the comic. My husband will be joining up with me to help with some of the writing this go around.

Reading the original comic will not be necessary, but don’t let me stop you. I will be starting with a sort of “Where are they now?” prologue. I’ll also reference anything necessary in the author’s notes to keep things from being too wordy. I am not quite certain on the update schedule just yet. I’ll start with just trying to do two Fridays a month and see where that gets me.
