Ah, crappy movies on the Sci-Fi channel; another excellent way to pass a night. Memorable favorites of mine include 'Chupacabra Terror' and 'King Cobra' (the latter is what I think Alice and Liz are watching - it's hard to see, but for purposes of clarification, in the first panel a man is screaming in terror in front of a giant snake. By the end of the page, he's been eaten and is nothing more than a lump in the snake's stomach.) I know, I'm morbid.
Also, I think this is the point in the comic where I'm deviating most from reality - the real Lounge is not open during the summer, which is a shame because it's a fun job. Instead I only work at the library – and no, I'm not actually eating my own face off here. It's an awesome job – obviously, because I can draw comics while I'm on the clock!
And finally – yes, we at the Lounge cater to a lot of drunkards. Stoners too. The drunks are rowdy and obnoxious at times, but we love stoners. These kids order their food, then wander off and never come back. After they've paid for it. Poor things. Except not really, since then we get to eat it. :3
