Here we are, at the start of the first real chapter. I appreciate all of your patience with the gap, but I wanted to start every chapter off on a new week.

I'm kinda shocked that after about a month since 2170 went live there have been no comments whatsoever. I know people are reading this (I *can* track pageviews, you know), but I'm getting no criticism, constructive or otherwise, at all. The only sure way for me to improve is for people to tell me what I'm doing right and what I'm doing wrong.

On a related note, I've been looking at my current supply reserves and I *think* I have enough to last me this chapter. At the same time, however, paying for more supplies is stretching my already meager wages. If you think that 2170 is worth your time and you're willing to help keep it going, I'll gladly accept donations.
