Okay, not too long!
The conclusion of Octavia's small review on her origin; we will mostly have learned we she came from, but Octavia's past remains in the shadows. One can blame Thanatos for that.
One named Tharisfal would say that he enjoys knowing things others do not…. That wouldn't be false, he was a professional killer, after all!

That's quite that! Their moon is considered by her kind like a deity similar to Gaia; mother, daughter and lover at once, they live in perfect symbiose with 
their natural environment;
That's why they hold a strong emotional and psychological bond to their homeworld!
(and why they're physically able to return there wherever they are, sometimes)

Yep! Her "solar system" -or rather lunar system- is kinda like a peculiar place!
She probably thought it would be boring since it's nothing exceptional for the members of her species.
