It's kinda silly, but I'm starting to get a little jealous of Torin, and he's a creation of my own mind. But, you see, he has someone who loves him and someone to hold on New Years. Me, i've been alone for two and a half years. Love doesn't work for me, I try too hard to help and care, but then i start to just get in the way. I've been told im that Mr. Nice Guy. the rare person that you can always count on for help, but never knew how to help himself. Through-out the entire Dav comic, the only characters that are made up are the one's that are emotionally tied to Dav. And how silly it seems that I happen to be Dav.

I guess you might say im desperate for love that i'ld create someone up just for me. Only partly true. I came up with the Dav story first when i was bored, and as it progressed i began to flesh out the characters. I thought, why use non-realistic paper thin emotion characters, why not make the story have real feeling? So i started pouring my soul into it, not literally, but it felt like it. At all times i was plotting and writing and devising and dreaming up what happens next.

In comic form and comparison it may seem like im some sad hopeless romantic, but the truth is im no longer sad. I may not have anyone, but there's always tomarrow. In sharing how i felt and feel, i've kinda found the theraputic mentality of optimism. If you were to follow me around a whole day, you could barely ever see me without a smile. And smiles are whats most important. I smile so that others may smile. Cause as you do, you find that it'll soon be a real smile.

So be in good spirits to others and to yourself. Grasp the day you are on not the one you wish to be on in the future. Live life as it comes, and as it comes, it'll be more worthwhile. You'll make memories you'll want to look back upon. You'll like who you are. Because it's never to late to change. Look at what tonight is, its new years eve. The night we make resolutions we dont always stick too, but why not make it an easy one this time, and have a happy new year.
