This year is the first time I've finally sat down and done 24 Hour Comic Day. It was a learning experience, for sure. First off, I didn't get the day before or the day after off work, which cut into my sleep either side, which meant that, by about Hour 19, I was flagging severely and had to call it a day at page 12.
I did actually manage to get all 24 pages storyboarded within a few hours, then set about doing pencils and inks from there. At the rate I was finishing, it probably would have worked out, but as mentioned, I was running really low on energy and so the pace, quality or both would have just dropped right out.
So, I've made the decision to upload the 12 pages I got done now, in their raw state- nothing's been done to these outside of the challenge time- and I'll work on the rest and finish the whole thing off to be uploaded at a later date. It'll have proper text and colour. Look forward to it.
