4-3: Slander or Libel?

So, yes, oh em gee, a Fullmetal Alchemist reference. Whoopee. While I do love the series (by the by, the most recent chapter was EPIC!), I'd just like to point out that I actually only got into FMA via my love for alchemy, not vice-versa. Gary the Alchemist has no ties to this, and all alchemy present will (hopefully) be likened to the actual, real-life, historical alchemy.

With a few tweaks.

Anyway, I also gave a weak little history lesson regarding alchemy. I uh… didn't do that so well. Maybe later if I realize I need filler?

Yeah.

I almost had Dan call it a "cartoon," to further point out how little of a geek he actually is, but… then I thought some readers may find it a further insult. Sooo, I decided against it.

I still want people to LIKE Dan, so as to give some hint as to why Gary might consider him a friend at all. I don't think I'm doing it too well, heh.

I'd actually considered making Gary's shirt white in the last panel, to show his attempt to divert attention from Alchemy. But meh, that would've come off as weird.
