Ooh, burrrnnn.

As we already know, though, this is likely all Gary remembers. The other details are a bit fuzzy.

In my own forays of alchemy, I noticed how blood crusts (usually when I pick a wound) and begin to wonder, what if blood is the actual Prima Materia? (Hopefully more on that later in the series.)

I don't know if it is, but it allowed for an interesting lead-in to the creation of the Homunculus.

An interesting note: when I re-titled the last comic from "The Imp" to "Homunculus," I did not pay attention to today's comic, which was - whaddya know - titled "Homunculus." I believe the replacement is more intellectual - and funnier - though.

Another thing… I forgot the flame on the burner. He's supposed to be turning it on here. I suppose he was reaching to turn it off, then was distracted by the imp. That's why he looks back. Yyyeah.

I might fix it later, or just leave it as the imp being distracting. Whatever works, I suppose.

(I should really give Gary a memo about wearing gloves…)
