27-1: A Slight Miscalculation

Wow. You guys, I didn't even think I'd have a comic for this week. I really really went under the wire here.

I knew I wanted to separate my two school storylines with an Alchemy-related comic, but I wasn't sure how to go about it.

Then, at the very last minute, I came up with this storyline. And so it didn't get too old, I decided not to include the imp for this first comic. Don't worry, he'll show up again. I just really wanted to have just Gary and the alchemy.

The um… failed alchemy.

…It's not supposed to settle at the bottom.

Random note: This comic was originally going to be called "Dissolution," but then I realized I had a lengthy storyline at the end of this summer that will require that title.
