I actually read Lord of the Flies back in middle school, not high school, but I couldn't help but mention it.

I'm sure I might've been too young to appreciate the subtle nature of allegory, but… holy crap, why do teachers torture us like that?

And I assume the book belongs in Speculative Fiction, due to Simon's vision and the fact that CHORUS BOYS were somehow supposed to be HUNTERS. I mean, seriously, what the hell?

Anyway, apologies for getting this up late. Next week's stuff should be fun. Not very comicky, but lots of interesting stuff. I hope.
