40-3: Arm Folding Is Tricky

I agree with the Imp. This new lab is a bit drab. I now regret making Gary's work desk naturally gray.

And his shirt yellow. His lab coat and hat will now be the most colorful thing in the lab. What the heck?

So I hope everybody got a good handle on how Gary's shed-lab looks. I don't know where the light source would come from in there, but I do know that one of the windows is totally being covered by those shelves.

I wonder what I should have assorted on that new table though. And I need to work on artsing the cot more. But look! Plywood panels.

Next week's comic should be interesting. I'm just now getting the characterization of Gary's sister down, and it's a bit different from what I'd initially intended. I'd originally thought she'd be a bit like my sister - completely disinterested in most geeky things, altogether nonsense, and thinking Gary is a nutter.

I'm now considering rewriting this, though. She still might have no interest in Alchemy, but what if she's the scientific type? What if she would be the kind of person who, upon seeing a new creature like the Imp, would be inclined to do experiments on it to see how it lives, and how well-developed its cognitive functions are?

And therefore, Gary does not want her meeting the Imp.
