Whew, that was a bit of a strain.

As I believe I've mentioned, I had some trouble characterizing Gary's sister. I'd initially planned her to be a bit more like my own sister, more-or-less trying to deal with his oddness. I was even going to draw her similar to how I've drawn my own sister before, but I figured… "Nah, I'll be a bit more original than that." So now his older sister acts a bit immature for her age.

This could be a good thing or a bad thing. For poor Gary, I think it's a bad thing.

Hey, look! I changed the style of Gary's goggles to some of those old strapped goggles I used back in high school chemistry. Man, those were odd. But it was the only way to explain where his goggles went when he looked out the door. Because I thought it'd be stupid if he still had them on.

I need to start working out the details for next month's special. Yes, I have a special planned for Gary the Alchemist. It'll be totally worth it if I can just get the script to something I'll enjoy, and the art to something I'll appreciate. It'll probably need to be in a style completely unlike my own. Yikes.
