Well, this was fun. Especially figuring out what subjects those nine books actually consist of. I'd initially just planned various books on alchemy, but then I thought… Gary's probably getting really worried about why he failed this summer.

By the way, I might be taking a week off next week. I'm getting kinda tired, and I need time to work on the Halloween comic for MM Special, as well as the stories for this month - of which I only have the Gary the Alchemist Halloween story thought up (and I need to plan out the storyboards for that too, it should be LOADS of fun).

I'm debating what to do, though. On the one hand, I can try to get a friend to do guest comics for that week. On the other hand, I can do a random week in the life of another character in the series, just avoiding color (or even shading) to save me effort, and maybe sanity, with a change in pace.

All I know is, I don't like giving you guys a single panel of "No Comic" lameness. So I'm avoiding that.

But this week! Yes, this week we'll have Gary. The um… the alchemist.
