Yeah, that always goes swimmingly.

I had a big self-debate which way I'd go with the golem. In fact, I'd considered a white or gray clay, which would be far easier to obtain (as art clay, y'know)? Then I decided to go with the red of a number of different images of the golem, which were quite similar to this.

Also, the crack in the chest. Should I add it or no? I figure Gary would find it pointless in a real working golem, and probably the fragment of a story where it cracked, but there could always be a crease from where he inserted all the clay organs.

Still, I kept the belt because it looked good, and I figured you guys could decide if I should add or subtract anything.

(I might get rid of the belt, a big lumbering mass of clay would look more like an amateur's work, plus… isn't it supposed to be made of iron? How the hell would Gary forge iron with a small workshop like that? I could see him gathering a crapload of clay, but iron? Really?)

Anyway, I'll see you guys on Friday. I'll try to work on MM Special more, I REALLY want to get SOMETHING up on Halloween, but I don't know how well I'll be able to get everything up. Maybe I'll start a page-a-day schedule through to November 7th. Which sucks, because it's a Halloween story, but whatever.
