74-2: Corbin and Harris

I hope you all have the same feeling of familiarity. If not, you may have missed out on the best comic series of all time. Or I'm really bad at remembering and drawing a crude homage.

As a terrible, terrible hint, I'd like to point out that the boy's name is not Corbin (probably Melvin, really), and the golem's already been referred to by him as "Red Man," not Harris. And that both names are those of philosophers.

And I've said too much, I'm sure.

I think this comic was the sole reason for my week of little boy and the Golem. It reminds me how I originally wanted to do Melody & Macabre as a sort of darker version of That Series, though clearly the little girl was not as imaginative.

(And I know I'm not mentioning the series by name, but really, if your childhood was anything like mine it should be obvious. No rewards for getting it, other than "YEAH, THAT COMIC WAS GREAT, WASN'T IT?")

Uhmmm… Friday is more of the same, but next week should be a return to the old stuff. I'll dust off my old plot schedule and see what ideas it gives me.
