Wow, is this my first reference to current events? I think it is!

This sort of storyline is what I was hoping to do since the very beginning of the series. If I could remember more about both subjects, and my thoughts on both in high school, I'd be able to provide a lot more examples of Gary's skewed mindset towards science and the Art. Unfortunately, the mind-boggling formula I discovered (which probably wouldn't have worked anyway) is now lost in my head. It might've actually been the formula for cinnabar (see two weeks ago), now that I look back with my current knowledge.

That's pretty cool though, as some speculation was that the Philosopher's Stone would actually be a "refined" version of it. Back to your labs now, students!

(What's strange is, Gary hasn't even mentioned yet to Mr. Bookman that he actually made a homunculus.)
