Well, that was awkward.

Semantics aside, that was still a pretty awkward conversation - but it would have been worse if I'd left it as I had considered doing it.

The other plan for this comic was for Gary to offer a sheet of paper to Lizzie when she asked for it. I then realized that this would both destroy most sympathy that has been built up for him by playing favorites, and also broken character for him, as he's likely still moping about the whole Valentine's Day thing.

Still, it would've allowed Edy to quip, "You son of a bitch."

Oh well. I think this will still keep them on semi-genial (though still bumpy) terms.

So, it seems Edy is getting good reviews so far. That's good. Hopefully her snarkiness will provide more love.

(Regarding doodles, she hasn't actually seen him drawing alchemical symbols or something, but… well, people doodle. I don't know why I had to explain that.)

EDIT: Crap, I screwed up her hair, and can't seem to figure out how to fix it. Argh. It'll be back to Monday's look on Friday, so don't get attached to this.
