Originally I was going to give them a successful conjunction, but I wanted to be accurate to alchemy, so… fail.

Speaking of accuracy, I'm pretty sure a real failure would have just been the debris settling to the bottom. Oh well.

I ALMOST scrapped my entire work at the last minute to get him bringing in a box of the actual vessel he needs, but I felt it was too implausible for him to suddenly know what it is. If I ever figure out what the hell it's called, I'll be able to introduce a bit about him finding it out. Or I'll just have him get it without ever naming it, but it'll have to be explained beforehand instead of just being "The same week he was talking about having trouble, he suddenly got one." No. Just no.

St. Patrick's Day next week. I wonder if we'll be doing something.
