Incidentally, why the hell are they playing a GameCube with corded controllers?

Anyway, I've been meaning to do this gag for a while now. I'd often considered doing a gamer comic, but I always decided against it because I know I'd have nothing to actually talk about. I'm a casual. I play Pokemon, Zelda, and Golden Sun. And the occasional Guitar Hero. That's pretty much it. My friends had to do some major convincing to get me to play Monster Hunter Tri.

Hell, I didn't really even have an idea for the comic until I remembered the weirdness of pre-ordeirng Pokemon and always getting some cool little thing, then seeing commercials about… like… bonus skins and weapons for certain games, and wondering why they don't just have those in the game as unlockable features for actual achievements. I love GameStop and all (though I do get bored if people I'm with take too long and I've got nothing else to look at), but it seems pretty odd next to my kickass Lugia figurine, or highly useful Dialga stylus.

At any rate, I find far more enjoyment in supernatural comedy. Though branching out to another genre for a gag sure does allow me to show off my wonderful inability to draw certain perspectives. Also I get to cause damage to the fourth wall, which provides a certain giddy, amateurish form of humor that I nevertheless relish.
