I think this comic may have done well with 3 panels. Poor golem, though…
So yeah, this is a story arc I've been wanting to do for a while. As far back as the Imp being a little ball of light. THAT far back.
I just thought it would be interesting to breach the dynamic of Gary's world and alchemy, and as I'm already halfway through the series I thought, "Well, now's a better time than ever."
I've been kicking around other story ideas too, which is GREAT because it means I don't spend Sunday nights staring at the screen with my eyes glazed over, tablet pen in my hand, no idea what I'm doing.
Guh… is it obvious enough that the Imp climbed up from its box-apartment to the table by a small rope? I don't think I portrayed that as well as I'd like either…
Maybe when I get rid of this cough my head won't ache and distract me from comics.
