If I knew then what I know now, I would have given the school a name like Metal Embers High or something, instead of East Generic High.

I'd just love to have the school initials be MEH. But I guess EGH is fine.

I was having a bit of difficulty cramming all the stuff I wanted to do this week into… this week. I really did want to do "Gary Doesn't Know About Football," with him dealing with the goofy rules of football (come on, they're freaking goofy), but I realized he probably wouldn't care enough to watch the game once he realized who was there.

Anyway, um… back when I was in the marching band, we'd get a break after the halftime show to relax before starting back up on the bleachers. So I guess that's what's happening here.

And I know what some of you guys are asking. "Hey, where are all the other fans? Shouldn't those bleachers be packed? Why didn't you draw them all in?" Shut up, that's where they are.

A fun thing I love doing - showing hints of stories taking place outside the regular story. Here, it's the continuation of something I did for Valentine's Day, with Jean and Cappy awkwardly deciding to be one another's Valentine's. Apparently they're going out now or something. I'd been wanting to expand upon that for a WHILE now.

I was going to pick up the Mysterious Sect plot next week, but it's inching incredibly close to Halloween, so let's just start that in November when I have a huge blank spot. Instead, I'll do three weeks of Halloween. How's that?

Not good? Too bad, I'm excited. I gotta finish my scripts for MM Specials by Saturday, too. Holy cow, that's one day… then the art must begin, no matter who does it. xO
