Just short of the theme, today's comic was pretty much exactly how my senior prom went.

(Oh joy, the pathos of the author. Cry us a river, Andy.)

Moving on. So I was realizing that proms usually follow a theme, and I thought, "Well crap, what would they use?"

Tch, it's 2012, what else would they use?

I imagine that mockup of the earth is a very intricate papier-mâché model. The moon crashing into Earth was done with a number of swizzle sticks or something, I don't know.

Gary's suit has an interesting color scheme. You'll see it soon. Needless to say, he's wearing his favorite colors.
