001. That's what I call social

Here it is, the first strip. Amazing how much time and effort it takes for such a small image. :-P I am drawing the strip in pencil and inking, coloring, and adding text in Paint Shop Pro (using a mouse right now – but I'm practicing with my tablet). I haven't decided if I want to do any real shading/highlights on his strip. I like it in the hair, but it could be distracting (and time consuming) to do more.

Oh, and the main male character is based loosely on my brother. (I also had a minor "cameo" character in Used Books based on him.) The female character isn't based on anyone.
