Author notes
First, I want to apologize for not having a meteorology-themed update to go along with Groundhog's Day. I didn't remember the holiday until I was completely finished with this and stamping the date on it. I do have a few meteorological-themed gags in my mind, but none are polished into anything usable yet. Lab safety guides warn to never eat or drink anything in a laboratory. This is why. ~_^ I think this strip turned out pretty clear, though inaccurate. I won't say any more about eating in a lab. (I should do a comic guide to laboratory safety…) My only other comment is that scientists don't use cheese in experiments. There are a lot of reasons, but one myth I want to dispel is that rats and mice love cheese. I think the myth came about because people would leave cheese out, so that's what the household pests had access too and therefore ate. However, my experience keeping pet rats tells me that they would MUCH prefer that hamburger – or cake.
