This one took me extra long because Ben Franklin posthumously stole an hour from me yesterday…

The inspiration for this came last weekend. Friends we were visiting made the mistake of mentioning a physics term, so my dad launched into an impromptu seminar on unified theory and all those other things I only half listened to before joining the ladies in the kitchen. (Not that it was uninteresting. I have simply heard all of my father's informal physics seminars a dozen times before.)

When I was in middle school, I found a book in our home called "The Cartoon Guide to Quantum Physics," which I read cover to cover, hoping for some insight to my then second favorite show Quantum Leap. Sadly, I didn't glean much from it. – Later, I also found "The Cartoon Guide to Genetics," which was also entertaining. (I already knew most of the stuff in that one, but it was presented in a humorous way.)
