Bit of an exposition-tease here. This story is much bigger that just Maureen's personal journey or the Heroes vs the Lemniscate Society dilemma. There are a lot more pieces in play that haven't revealed themselves yet. The Miser was mentioned a couple of times in BGH, and the Nevermind (A place, not a person.) is going to be one of the major looming threats throughout Generation Bad.

We're just getting started.
