Here's a fun peak behind the curtain. This was another one of my big old splash pages that was originally meant for Chapter 2: Page 11. It had Callamir announcing that the fight was over and the bad guys had won. But at some point in the process I realized ( In addition to the fact the fight didn't look very over..) I had to resolve the question of "Why doesn't Callamir use her red hypno-eyes on Legwork? If she thinks he knows where Bodacious is?" So I instead had Callamir and Safe-House confirm that Legwork passed out, and then I gave the line about the fight being over to Illuminefar. This also had the added bonus of giving Illuniefar a stronger presence in the story and reminding the reader that he's still a very big shark in the water, so to speak.
