The local village has the habit of leaving out sacrificial victims to "appease yon beastie". There is just one catch. George doesn't really EAT people. However, he doesn't want to offend their poor sensibilites, so he often comes up with excuses to send them on their way.

I mean, come on. Who in their right mind would raise their hand after George asked THAT? :)
