94 - George the Dragon: I'm not left handed

Hello Hello!

Another late night at the drawing board (tablet). I wanted to do a faraway shot of the top of the tower to show that the entire kingdom is now sunk beneath the pink stuff. There are some nice details of pink stuff pouring over the edge of the tower, but they were mostly blocked when I added in the characters.

I think I like how the prophet turned out in this one better than last week.

This tablet is so much smoother that the other that it actually takes LESS time to do a page. We'll see how it goes when George makes his comeback in February. So far I haven't drawn him yet with the new tablet.

So, two more strips and the stomach adventures will come to a close. I've learned a lot with this little tangent. I think I've progressed quite a bit with the art. I've also learned the power of a good outline and that planning is definitely a good thing. I didn't plan the stomach arc very well. I knew how it was to begin, and I knew how it was to end. Getting from point A to B has taken a LOT longer than I had thought it would. I thought I would have been done back in December.

But that's neither here nor there. It is what it is and I've enjoyed making it. I can't wait to dive into some good George gags. I've got quite a back-log of strip ideas in my little notebook.
